The explosions are well done and beautiful to look at, but the backdrops are repetitive to the point of being dull. The game is very fast paced, and rewards an aggressive play style.
One small problem that comes up is if you are too fast, you will be stuck listening to dialogue from the opponent until the dialogue is complete.
Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn is a combination of a number of different popular Gundam series combined. Although the Official Mode is the star of the game, many fans will probably enjoy Ultimate Mode as much or more. This allows you to customize your own suits, bring favorite characters into other worlds, and otherwise mix and match to your hearts content. The game features an RPG style leveling system where you must level up your suits in order to be able to succeed in the next level.
This game has a lot to offer. While it does have a few flaws, the most problematic being the dialogue delays, its overall a fun game to play. If you enjoy taking to the skies in a giant mech for epic battles, this game is an excellent choice.
